From the Glacier Institute website:

"Join us as we learn about the raptors who brave the Mission Valley in winter. We will hope to find a variety of hawks, eagles and falcons with our explorations. We will discuss raptor plumage characteristics that will guide us in identifying age, sex, and subspecies of our feathered friends. As we learn about raptor behavior, we will also discover techniques in identifying raptors soaring in flight and as well as perched. With binoculars in hand, we will gain a further appreciation for the magnificent raptors who flourish in the winter of the Mission Valley."

Course name: Raptors of the Mission Valley

Date: January 29, 2022

Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.
